The cover states that this is "an experiment in simplicity and imperfection". The idea was to just slap everything down as quickly and simply as possible on own without involving anyone. A bit like the days of the Fostex X-15 fourtrack in the back of my parents garage in Cornwall. I (Will Gibson) got a little carried away here and there though.
